What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage complex projects and provide technical review and project management support across multiple technical disciplines
Prepare and make decisions for major proposals and contracts, including complex engineering reports
Interface with federal and state regulatory authorities on intricate projects
Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships through effective communication and presentations
Oversee project teams, ensuring efficient management of engineering and field support personnel
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s Degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or a closely related field; MS or PhD desirable
Minimum 15 years of geotechnical engineering experience within professional consulting services
Valid Driver’s License and PE Certification required
Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and strategic thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to mentor less experienced engineers

Experience managing client relationships and developing new business within the engineering sector
Reputation as a technical leader in the industry, regionally or nationally
Ability to create and maintain project budgets
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
