What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage complex projects and provide technical review and project management support
Prepare and make decisions for major proposals and contracts
Develop and deliver client presentations and assist with marketing strategies
Interface with federal and state regulatory authorities on complex projects
Oversee client contracting and maintain internal and external client relationships
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s Degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or a closely related field; MS or PhD desirable
Minimum of 15 years of geotechnical engineering experience within professional consulting services
Valid Driver’s License and PE Certification required
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with good interpersonal abilities

Reputation as a technical leader in the industry regionally or nationally
Experience managing client relationships and developing new business
Ability to mentor less experienced engineers in applying engineering principles and practices
Proficiency in creating, maintaining, and communicating project budgets
