What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage complex projects and provide technical review and project management support
Prepare and make decisions on major proposals and contracts
Interface with federal and state regulatory authorities on complex projects
Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships, including face‑to‑face meetings
Lead, mentor, manage, and develop technical staff within the organization
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s Degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or closely related field; MS or PhD desirable
Minimum 15 years of geotechnical engineering experience within professional consulting services
Valid Driver’s License and PE Certification required
Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with good interpersonal skills

Reputation as a technical leader in the industry regionally or nationally
Creative and innovative problem‑solving skills for high‑impact, complex issues
Ability to mentor less experienced engineers in applying engineering principles
