What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage complex engineering projects and provide technical review and project management support
Prepare major proposals and contracts, including complex engineering reports with practical geotechnical solutions
Interface with federal and state regulatory authorities and oversee client contracting
Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships through effective communication
Lead, mentor, and develop technical staff while managing project teams efficiently
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s Degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or closely related field; MS or PhD desirable
Minimum 15 years of geotechnical engineering experience in professional consulting services
Valid Driver’s License and PE Certification required
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interpret complex technical instructions

Reputation as a technical leader in the industry, either regionally or nationally
Experience in managing client relationships and developing new business within the engineering field
Ability to influence others and mentor less experienced engineers effectivelyProven track record in creating and maintaining project budgets
