What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage highly complex projects and provide technical review and project management support
Prepare complex engineering reports and make decisions on major proposals and contracts
Interface with federal and state regulatory authorities on complex projects
Develop and deliver client presentations as part of relationship development
Oversee client contracting and manage project teams effectively
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s Degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or a closely related field; MS or PhD desirable
Minimum 15 years of geotechnical engineering experience within professional consulting services
Valid Driver’s License and PE Certification required
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Reputation as a technical leader in the industry regionally or nationally
Experience in managing client relationships and developing new business
Ability to mentor less experienced engineers in applying engineering principles
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize work effectively
