What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Manage highly complex engineering projects and provide technical review and project management support
Prepare major proposals and contracts, as well as complex engineering reports
Interface with federal and state regulatory authorities on intricate projects
Develop and maintain client relationships through effective communication and presentations
Oversee project teams and mentor less experienced engineers
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s Degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or closely related field; MS or PhD is desirable
Minimum 15 years of geotechnical engineering experience within professional consulting services
Valid Driver’s License and PE Certification required
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Reputation as a technical leader in the industry, regionally or nationally
Experience in managing client relationships and developing new business
Ability to influence and mentor direct reports effectively
Proven track record of successful project management within engineering disciplines
