What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Manage complex projects, providing technical review and project management support across multiple disciplines
Prepare and make decisions for major proposals and contracts while interfacing with regulatory authorities
Develop and deliver client presentations to foster relationships and assist with marketing strategies
Oversee client contracting and maintain internal and external client relationships through meetings
Lead, mentor, and manage technical staff while ensuring project safety requirements are met
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s Degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or a closely related field; MS or PhD desirable
Minimum 15 years of geotechnical engineering experience within professional consulting services
Valid Driver’s License and PE Certification required
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interpret technical documents

Reputation as a technical leader in the industry regionally or nationally
Experience in managing client relationships and developing new business
Ability to influence others and mentor less experienced engineers
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
