What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage complex projects and provide technical review and project management support across multiple disciplines
Prepare and make decisions on major proposals and contracts while developing engineering reports with practical solutions
Interface with federal and state regulatory authorities and oversee client contracting with corporate legal support
Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and marketing strategies
Lead, mentor, and manage technical staff while ensuring adherence to safety policies and practices
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s Degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or a closely related field; MS or PhD is desirable
Minimum of 15 years of geotechnical engineering experience within professional consulting services
Valid Driver’s License and PE Certification required
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interpret technical instructions and documents
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Established reputation as a technical leader in the engineering industry, regionally or nationally
Experience in managing client relationships and developing new business opportunities
Ability to influence and mentor less experienced engineers effectively
Highly organized with strong prioritization and multitasking abilities
