Regional Business Director, Immunology Gastroenterology (West)
Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is searching for the best talent for a Regional Business Director, Immunology Gastroenterology to support the West region. The position is field-based with regional scope. Preference may be granted to candidates residing near major metropolitan cities within the West region (CO, AZ, CA, OR, WA, NV, etc.).
Our expertise in Innovative Medicine is informed and inspired by patients. Our Immunology team leads development of transformational medicines for immunological disorders and illnesses.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of District Managers and Gastroenterology Sales Specialists to maximize sales opportunities.
Develop and execute an aligned business plan customized to J&J business and brand strategies to deliver compliant product sales growth and volume objectives.
Collaborate extensively at all organizational levels with key internal partners and external stakeholders to develop optimal access and establish relationships.
Motivate, coach, develop, and retain a diverse team of high‑performing professionals.
Coach others to build mutual alignment, adopt difficult positions, and achieve customer‑centric outcomes while adhering to J&J Credo and HCC guidelines.
Set overall account goals and objectives, and lead the development and oversight of account metrics and business performance.
Qualifications – Required
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
Seven (7) years of related experience, with at least five (5) years in cross‑functional commercial roles (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Access/Payer, Analytics, Business Development).
Prior direct people‑management or leadership experience.
Ability to lead, develop, coach, and engage high‑performing, diverse teams.
Demonstrated commercial capabilities and success in prior commercial roles.
Preferred Qualifications
Cross‑functional experience beyond sales and sales learning & development.
Health‑care or related experience, including pharmaceuticals.
Prior experience as a professional sales representative and/or District Manager.
Direct experience in inline Marketing or Strategic Marketing.
Sales and/or Marketing experience in Gastroenterology.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $165,000–$250,000.
