Responsibilities
Lead staff engaged in Transactions, ensuring accurate, timely, and quality service that exceeds customers’ expectations.
Manage official personnel record keeping and develop training, policies, and procedures for transaction operations.
Oversee special projects and implement initiatives to improve transaction processes.
Maintain compliance with state civil service regulations and departmental policies.
Eligibility & Minimum Qualifications Eligibility is determined by performance on the Staff Services Manager I examination. Individuals who are not currently eligible must be on the state examination list or be a new to-state applicant.
Minimum qualifications are outlined in the Class Specification for STAFF SERVICES MANAGER I. Candidates must meet these requirements as a prerequisite for consideration.
Special Requirements Applicants must submit a 1‑2 page Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) that discusses education, training, experience, and skills relevant to the position. The SOQ must be in 12‑point font and include specific examples for the following statements:
Provide an example of work experience demonstrating success in the Office of Transaction Services.
Describe leadership or management skills that qualify you for this role, with specific work experience examples.
