Job Overview Healthy Kids Programs is looking for a dynamic Director to lead our after‑school program for the 2025‑2026 school year. As the Director, you will be the driving force behind every aspect of the operation of the Healthy Kids Program Site.

Grimshaw Elementary School in LaFayette, NY Pay:
$17.00 per hour Hours:
2:15 pm – 6:00 pm
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with OCFS guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and host school rules.
Direct engaging, hands‑on activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum, covering fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and homework support.
Manage attendance and registration records, staffing levels, and operational tasks.
Maintain communication with parents and families via the Playground App.
Collaborate with direct reports, address issues promptly, and foster a positive team environment.
Requirements
Option A: Associate degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field, plus two years of direct experience with children under 13 and at least one year supervisory.
Option B: New York State Children’s Program Administrator Credential, plus two years of direct experience with children under 13 and at least one year supervisory.
Option C: School‑Age Child Care Credential or another office‑recognized credential, plus two years of direct experience with children under 13 and at least one year supervisory.
Option D: Two years of college with 18 credits in a relevant field, plus two years of direct experience with children under 13 and at least one year supervisory.
Qualifications
Physically fit, medically cleared, and free of communicable diseases (including TB).
Warm, friendly, upbeat, with exceptional interpersonal skills for children, parents, and team members.
Reliable, punctual, professional, and capable of bending, stretching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs.
