Job Description The following general description applies to all hourly store team members.

Job Duties

Operate all equipment.

Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.

Prepare product.

Receive and process telephone orders.

Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.

Clean equipment and facilities approximately daily.

Training Orientation and training are provided on the job.

Essential Functions / Skills

Accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide; use a calculator as needed.

Make correct monetary change.

Provide clear verbal and written communication and process orders over the phone and in person.

Maintain motor coordination and hand‑eye coordination for quick, precise movements.

Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Work Conditions Exposure to varying temperatures (36°F to 90°F+), chemical fumes, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces up to 500°F, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and cramped quarters. Tasks include standing, walking, sitting, lifting (up to 50 lbs), carrying, pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs.

Physical Demands Most tasks are performed while standing; walking and short distances are common. Lifting and carrying involve loads up to 50 lbs; pushing and pulling require force up to 7.5 lbs. Climbing and stooping/bending are necessary for certain store tasks.

Additional Information For driver or store management positions, deliver product by car and require a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle.
