Department & Employment Department: 70300 CHS Anesthesia Svs Group CRNA - Surgical Anesthesia Services: CMC Position Type: Full‑time Hours per Week: 40 Schedule: Varies (days, afternoons, nights, overnight call, 8‑, 10‑, 12‑, 24‑hour options) Pay Range: $100,000 – $204,443 per year (entry‑level starts at $204,443/yr.) Sign‑on Bonus: $100,000
Responsibilities
Level 1 Trauma facility operations
Adult & Pediatric Heart/Heart Transplant, HPB, Adult & Pediatric Liver Transplant, Neuro, Code Stroke, OB including regional anesthesia administration and labor epidural service, Pediatrics, Neonates, NORA (non‑OR anesthesia)
Provide anesthesia care across full spectrum of surgical and non‑surgical procedures
Participate in committees and teaching opportunities for allied health learners and SRNAs from the CMC/UNCC Nurse Anesthesia Program
Serve on the 110‑member CRNA team handling 25,000 OR cases and 22,000 NORA cases annually
Qualifications
NC RN licensure required
Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia
CRNA licensure required
BLS and ACLS PALS from AHA required
About the Practice/Facility CMC serves as the region's only Level 1 trauma center and is an accepted transplant center for heart, kidney, pancreas, and liver.
It is one of North Carolina's five Academic Medical Center Teaching Hospitals, providing residency training for more than 200 physicians across 15 specialties and serving as a regional campus for Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
Carolinas Medical Center has been named the No. 1 Best Hospital in the Charlotte region by U.S. News & World Report for seven consecutive years.
