Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately document all incoming and outgoing shipments in the WMS.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including proper packaging, labeling, and staging.
- Coordinate with carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular checks and audits.
- Keep the receiving and shipping areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and ensure the proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and diligent use of PPE.
