Job Summary:
We are seeking diligent Order Pickers to join our logistics team in San Francisco, California. This role is essential for accurately fulfilling customer orders within our distribution center. You will be responsible for locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves, ensuring accuracy in product and quantity. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses excellent attention to detail, and can work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Your precision directly impacts customer satisfaction and operational success. Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick items according to order specifications using scanners or pick lists.
  • Verify product codes and quantities before confirming picks.
  • Stage picked items for packing and shipping processes.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area.
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of appropriate PPE.
  • Meet or exceed established productivity targets.
  • Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous warehouse or order picking experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs repetitively.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial.
  • Understanding of logistics and inventory control.
  • Commitment to a safe working environment.
