Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from designated warehouse locations using pick lists or electronic scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Package picked items carefully and securely for shipment, following all guidelines.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment as directed.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet or exceed daily order picking targets while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve departmental goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, involving significant walking, standing, bending, and Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Familiarity with handheld scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and general logistics.
- Strong dedication to workplace Safety and following instructions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including potential overtime, as needed.
