Shipping & Receiving Associate

Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive Shipping & Receiving Associate for our facility in San Antonio, Texas. This role is central to managing the flow of goods into and out of our warehouse. You will be responsible for accurately processing incoming shipments, verifying inventory, preparing outgoing orders, and maintaining detailed records. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to efficiency are essential. Join a team that values safety and plays a crucial role in our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and log all incoming shipments, verifying against purchase orders.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in product and quantity.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move goods.
• Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records using the WMS.
• Ensure the dock area is kept clean, organized, and safe.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, promoting a safe work environment.
• Wear and utilize all required PPE, such as safety vests, gloves, and eye protection.
• Must be capable of significant Lifting and moving of items up to 50 lbs.
• Collaborate with transportation and logistics partners.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in using WMS and basic computer applications.
• Experience operating material handling equipment (forklift certification a plus).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform frequent Lifting.
• Commitment to safety standards and consistent use of PPE.
• Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
