Key Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve items from warehouse storage locations using pick lists or scanners.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Ensure all products are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all warehouse Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Properly use provided PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
- Report any stock discrepancies or issues to a supervisor.
- Operate hand trucks or other manual equipment safely.
- Meet established productivity targets for order picking.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is desirable.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret pick tickets or electronic device instructions.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to walk and stand for long periods.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
