Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret pick lists or use scanning devices to locate and retrieve products from warehouse racks.
- Ensure the accuracy of picked items by comparing them against order details.
- Transport picked items to the packing station or designated staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring aisles are clear and merchandise is stored properly.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety rules and regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Perform duties with efficiency and accuracy to meet productivity targets.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock checks as required.
- Operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment safely, as trained.
- Contribute to the overall success of our logistics operations through diligent work.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand pick tickets or digital order information.
- Excellent attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Capable of performing frequent lifting (up to 40 lbs) of various items.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety and strict adherence to PPE requirements.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when necessary.
