Job Summary:
Join our vital Shipping & Receiving team in Los Angeles, California! We are seeking a dependable and organized individual to manage the inbound and outbound flow of goods in our busy warehouse. This role is a cornerstone of our logistics operations, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and safely. Your responsibilities will include receiving incoming freight, verifying manifests, stocking inventory, picking and packing outgoing orders, and preparing shipments for dispatch. A strong commitment to workplace safety is paramount, and adherence to all safety procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is expected. This position involves significant physical activity, including the regular Lifting of items up to 60 lbs. - Receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments.
- Accurately documenting all received and shipped goods.
- Stocking received merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Picking and packing orders according to shipping manifests.
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers.
- Operating forklifts and pallet jacks (certification and training provided).
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Coordinating with carriers and internal departments for smooth logistics flow.
