Picker/Packer

Job Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves and efficiently packing them for shipment to our valued customers. This position demands speed, accuracy, and a strong attention to detail. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and all employees must strictly follow safety procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves significant physical activity, including standing for extended periods, walking, and regular lifting. You will be an integral part of our operations, ensuring that orders are fulfilled with precision and care. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items based on order sheets or electronic scanning devices.
• Inspect items for defects or damage before packing.
• Select appropriate packing materials and ensure orders are packed securely.
• Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
• Maintain productivity standards while ensuring accuracy.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Adhere to all company policies, including safety and attendance.
• Participate in inventory cycle counts as needed.
• Operate basic warehouse equipment like pallet jacks.
• Follow all safety protocols and use required PPE.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret order documents.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse safety.
