Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and pick products according to order lists and pick tickets.
- Use hand-held scanners to verify picked items and update inventory records.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Ensure all picked items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all established safety guidelines.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including those related to PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks as required.
- Ability to perform tasks involving significant lifting.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role preferred.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners or similar inventory management technology.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- A strong commitment to safety practices and the correct use of PPE.
