Responsibilities:
- Accurately picking customer orders from warehouse shelves.
- Using RF scanners and other equipment to locate and verify items.
- Ensuring the correct product and quantity are picked for each order.
- Transporting picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Assisting with inventory cycle counts.
- Adhering to all safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Meeting individual and team productivity targets.
- Reporting any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor.
- Collaborating with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform lifting tasks up to 40 pounds.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with basic logistics principles.
- Reliability and punctuality.
