Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify that picked items match order requirements in terms of product and quantity.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring they are ready for shipment.
- Conduct quality checks on picked and packed items.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or damaged goods to supervisors.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Assist with other warehouse duties, including receiving and stocking, as required.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy goals.
- This position involves regular lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
- Contribute positively to the team and foster a collaborative work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse/fulfillment role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
- Willingness to strictly follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
