Job Summary:
Join our innovative e-commerce fulfillment center in Austin, Texas, as a Fulfillment Associate. This role is critical to ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and quickly. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using handheld scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders with care, selecting appropriate packaging to ensure product safety.
- Process shipments, ensuring all labels and documentation are correct.
- Assist with inventory receiving, stocking, and organization.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to optimize workflow.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Contribute to team goals for order accuracy and on-time shipments.
- Perform quality checks on outgoing orders.
- Support other logistics functions as needed, potentially including manual Lifting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Capability of Lifting items up to 45 pounds.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices and procedures.
- Willingness to adhere to all Safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
