We are seeking a diligent Order Picker to join our logistics team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret pick lists or utilize RF scanners to locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Transport picked items to the packing station.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area to facilitate efficient operations.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Contribute to meeting daily order fulfillment targets.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damages encountered during picking.
- Support the overall logistics and distribution process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Ability to perform consistent physical activity, including frequent Lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Willingness to wear and correctly use required PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous.
