Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect incoming goods for damage and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Accurately document all incoming and outgoing inventory using our warehouse management system.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders according to customer specifications and shipping requirements.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move goods within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, ensuring all areas are accessible and safe.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counting as needed.
- Ensure all shipments are properly labeled and staged for carrier pickup.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a related warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including regular lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and basic computer skills.
- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all guidelines.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
