Before and After School Program Director
Healthy Kids Programs is on the lookout for a dynamic Director to lead our Before and After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year. As the Director, you'll be the driving force behind every aspect of the operation of the Healthy Kids Program Site.

$17.00 per hour Hours:
6:30 – 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 – 6:00 p.m.
Responsibilities
Guide compliance: Ensure staff and program adhere to OCFS guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and host school rules.
Direct engaging hands‑on activities from the Healthy Kids Curriculum covering fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and more. Manage homework completion.
Manage essential tasks: maintain attendance records, registration, staffing levels, and program operations.
Maintain communication with parents and family members via the Playground App.
Collaborate with direct reports, keeping them informed of daily occurrences and addressing issues promptly.
Requirements
Education and experience: Two years of college with 18 credits in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or related field; and two years of direct experience with children under 13, including at least one year in a supervisory capacity.
OR New York State Children’s Program Administrator Credential; and same experience.
OR School‑Age Child Care Credential or another office‑recognized credential; and same experience.
OR Associate’s degree in relevant field; and same experience.
Qualifications
Medically fit for job duties, free of communicable diseases including TB.
Warm, friendly, upbeat, with exceptional people skills; professional, reliable, and prompt.
Physically able to bend, stretch, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; ready to keep up with energetic kids.
