Director, Field HEOR Scientist – Great Lakes Location: Great Lakes & Midwest territories covering MN, WI, MI, IN, IL, MO, IA.

Employment Type: Full‑time, Seniority Level: Director.

Overview The Field HEOR Scientist works within a field matrix team to engage Access organizations and decision‑makers in assigned territories, combining HEOR expertise with U.S. healthcare system business models to support medication access decision‑making.

Responsibilities

Conduct health economics and outcomes research as part of a cross‑functional matrix team.

Lead the medical interface with key access customers in a field‑based role.

Collaborate on the development and implementation of the U.S. HEOR strategy, plans, and research.

Partner with home office medical teams to develop, interpret, and disseminate data assessing the medical value of BMS assets.

Direct research strategy to ensure BMS answers key payer questions.

Lead HEOR activities for therapeutic areas and field‑focused activities on accounts in managed care and integrated delivery networks.

Develop sustainable customer relationships and provide scientific, health economic, epidemiology, and quality of life information.

Work closely with commercial Account Executives, MSLs, and home office medical matrix teams.

Lead specific projects/initiatives impacting the broader field HEOR team.

Qualifications

Doctoral degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) with emphasis in health services research, health economics, public health, or related field.

Master’s level degree considered if specific to health economics or outcomes research and with appropriate clinical background and experience.

Minimum five years of experience in pharmaceutical, managed care, or consulting with a primary focus on Market Access and conducting HEOR in all research stages.

Demonstrated expertise in HEOR and a publication list.

Ability to understand and recommend concerning the evolving U.S. healthcare marketplace.

Proven ability to build customer relationships.

Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

Flexibility to travel; ability to drive a company‑provided vehicle.

Qualified driver: at least 21 years of age, state‑issued driver’s license in good standing, and acceptable driving risk level.

Compensation and Benefits Compensation Range: $211,880 – $256,748 (U.S. field). In addition to base salary, potential incentive cash and stock opportunities based on eligibility.
