Salary ranges by class:

A: $3,861.00 – $4,839.00

B: $4,181.00 – $5,233.00

C: $5,014.00 – $6,276.00

Job Description and Duties Under the general direction of the Chief, Contract Management Support Branch, a Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), the incumbent is a staff specialist responsible for providing assistance with the less difficult and complex allocations and monitoring of Division of Engineering Services (DES) resources as they relate to contracts to ensure that DES stays within resources allocated and for reviewing invoices and resolving issues related to invoices for assigned contracts.

This is a 2‑year Limited Term position that may become permanent.

Special Requirements Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) required. The SOQ should be typed, no more than 2 pages, single‑spaced, using 12‑point Arial, and include the following responses:

Please describe in detail your experience and qualifications related to this position, with emphasis on experience related to accounting, auditing, budgeting, and contract management.

Please provide examples that demonstrate your experience using Microsoft 365 Excel, Filemaker or any accounting databases. What was the purpose for use of these applications and databases?

Please describe in detail professional experience with research, writing, developing guidance, instructional memos, and manual procedures.
