Join Mavis Tire as a full‑time Automotive Mechanic at one of our state‑of‑the‑art service and retail tire sales centers in the Miami, FL area. Mavis, one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States, is looking for skilled technicians to help keep customers on the road.
About The Position As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be trusted to inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of undercar repairs on customers’ vehicles. You will help maintain high quality service, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and perform undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, and shocks.
Carry out state‑mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, fluid checks, and other routine maintenance.
Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.
Provide excellent customer service and uphold safety standards.
Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, and reach while performing repetitive vehicle maintenance tasks.
Regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
Qualifications
Minimum 18 years of age and legal authorization to work in the United States.
At least 2 years of automotive repair experience or equivalent training.
Extensive toolbox of personal tools used for undercar repairs.
Physical ability to perform the duties and responsibilities listed above.
State inspection license(s) and ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5) are preferred.
