CNC Machinist
Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. The role requires an understanding of machining processes and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines including lathes and mills to produce parts as per specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
Perform precision measurements to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Calibrate and adjust machine settings to achieve desired tolerances and finishes.
Utilize various tooling techniques and methods for efficient machining processes.
Adhere to safety standards and practices in the workplace to maintain a safe environment.
Collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in CNC programming and operation of CNC lathe and milling machines.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and precision measurement techniques.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications accurately.
Familiarity with safety standards and equipment maintenance practices.
Experience with 5-axis machining is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
