Materials Manager | Mason, MI
Salary Range: $81,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of inventory control, including optimization, accuracy, and cycle counting.
Oversee material planning, procurement, and scheduling to support production demands.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers for timely and cost-effective material delivery.
Direct warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, material handling, and shipping.
Implement and improve materials management processes and systems for efficiency and cost reduction.
Lead, mentor, and develop the materials team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory, delivery, and material costs.
Recommended Qualifications
5+ years of progressive experience in materials management, supply chain, or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for demand planning, inventory control, and production scheduling.
Strong understanding of inventory management principles, lean manufacturing, and JIT methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to analyze data, solve complex problems, and negotiate with suppliers.
CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
Bonus Qualifications
APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Proficiency with advanced data analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Experience with global sourcing strategies and international logistics.
Advanced functional knowledge of SAP MM/PP or Oracle SCM modules.
