Role & Responsibilities We are seeking a dynamic and strategic State Manager to lead our efforts across Florida. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, nurturing distributor relationships, and mentoring a team of dedicated Market Sales Managers. Your objective will be to elevate our brand's presence across both on-premise and off-premise channels, ensuring that our portfolio achieves maximum visibility and value.
Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to develop and implement the annual sales strategy.
Lead, manage, and develop a team of Market Sales Managers across the state.
Ensure excellence in brand execution by overseeing the full portfolio of SKUs.
Drive performance in volume, pricing, and merchandising across key accounts.
Foster strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key customers.
Plan and execute pricing strategies, programming, and promotional activities.
Enhance brand visibility through POS, displays, menus, and consumer activations.
Lead high-impact key account engagements personally.
Identify market trends, competitor actions, and growth opportunities.
Travel extensively throughout the territory to ensure effective execution and provide team mentorship.
Participate in wholesaler meetings, sales planning, and brand strategy sessions.
Maintain stringent control over budgets, expenses, and commercial ROI.
Remuneration & Benefits
Base salary : $150,000 per annum
Bonus : 25% performance-based
Car allowance : Calculated based on location
Business expenses covered : Home office, petrol, travel, accommodation
Remote-based role with frequent field activity across Florida

Qualifications We are seeking a seasoned commercial leader within the alcoholic beverages industry with strong supplier and distributor experience, excellent people management skills, and a robust network in Florida.
Essential Skills & Experience
Minimum of 5 years' experience in the alcoholic beverages sector.
Experience working with both suppliers and distributors.
Proven success in managing a state or regional sales territory.
Track record of managing and developing sales teams (34 direct reports).
Strong industry network across Florida, with the ability to quickly generate momentum.
Strong commercial capabilities in managing volume, pricing, distribution, and promotions.
Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.
Proficient in working with distributors, key accounts, and internal stakeholders.
Technical proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel 45 days per week throughout Florida.
Preferred
Experience in activating premium spirits and wine brands in both on-premise and off-premise channels.
Familiarity with field marketing, menu placement, and POS deployment.
