Responsibilities

General Training & Comprehension – Learn and perform job assignments of housekeeper, heavy housekeeper/floor tech, and laundry worker positions; operate and teach others on industrial cleaning equipment.

Leadership Development – Assist in training, quality control, and in‑servicing of staff per policies and federal/state requirements.

Policies & Procedures – Ensure quality standards, inventory levels, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations are met.

Reporting – Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment for HCSG and facility management.

Training – Responsible for training, quality control, and in‑servicing staff; conduct tours to assess work quality.

Leadership – Handle payroll submission, staffing patterns, coaching, discipline, purchasing, inventory, and budgeting.

Communication – Effectively convey directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to HCSG staff.

Safety – Use protective gear, responsibly mix and use cleaning solutions, report equipment or product issues, and follow infection control policies.

Punctuality – Maintain consistent attendance, arrive on time, and respond to paging system promptly.

Customer Experience – Represent HCSG courteously, cooperatively, and with respect to supervisors, coworkers, and client staff.

Resident Experience – Provide positive, pleasant, and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.

Qualifications

Positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.

After training, perform responsibilities independently without injury to self or others.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Basic computer skills for record keeping and web‑based reporting.

Ability to be scheduled and on time for work.

Comply with COVID‑19 vaccination policies as required.

Lift/carry up to 50 pounds; stand, sit, bend, walk for extended periods.

Perform routine repetitive tasks continuously.

Work around food and cleaning products.

Live in the service area.
