Responsibilities

General Training & Comprehension – Learn and perform job assignments of housekeeping, heavy housekeeping, floor tech, and laundry worker positions.

Leadership Development – Assist in training, quality control, and in-servicing staff according to policies and procedures and federal/state requirements.

Policies & Procedures – Ensure quality standards, inventory levels, safety guidelines and customer service expectations are met.

Reporting – Maintain records of income and expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment in report format.

Training – Responsible for training, quality control and in-servicing staff, assessing work quality using QCIs.

Leadership – Handle managerial responsibilities: payroll submission, staffing patterns, coaching and discipline, purchasing, inventory, budgeting.

Communication – Effectively communicate directives from client managers and administrators to staff.

Safety – Use protective gear; responsible for safe mixing and use of cleaning solutions; report equipment needs.

Punctuality – Consistent attendance and punctual arrival; timely completion of assigned cleaning area.

Customer Experience – Positively represent HCSG by following instructions, being courteous and cooperative.

Resident Experience – Positive, pleasant, and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.

Qualifications

Positive attitude; ability to follow oral and written instructions; perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.

After training, utilize leadership skills to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Basic computer skills for maintaining records and completing reports.

Ability to work as scheduled and on time.

Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required.

Physical requirements: lift/carry up to 50 pounds; stand, sit, bend, walk for extended periods; perform routine tasks continuously; work around food and cleaning products.

Must live in the service area.
