Retail Service Specialist

Responsibilities
Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
Supervise customer service levels in the showroom, including execution of programs such as Related Sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, and Rock the Lot.
Ensure telephone service is answered according to company policy.
Process buy online/ship to store, hub transfers, store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders promptly, contacting customers when shipments arrive.
Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and in accordance with procedures, using the electronic outside purchase order ledger.
Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently, issue refunds accurately using correct payment methods, and stage returned merchandise in the returns area.
Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks to completion.
Ensure team members adhere to posted work schedules, obtain management approval for changes or deviations, and clock in/out in compliance with company policy.
Perform all store opening and closing duties, including day‑end procedures, secure money and deposits, prepare bank deposits, ensure night security lights are on, lock doors and secure the building, arm/disarm security alarms, and lock delivery vehicles parked in secure areas.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
Strong communication skills.
Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
Desired:
Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
Automotive system and repair knowledge.
ASE Certification.
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
