Overview The Communications Outreach Recruitment and Enrollment (CORE) Unit is the first stop along the path of transformation for young adults across California. We initiate outreach to thousands of young adults and lead them through the enrollment process. The SSA Recruiter based in Sacramento actively recruits individuals to join CCC non‑residential and statewide residential centers, focusing on wildland firefighting and other conservation programs. This role requires travel to a variety of counties (e.g., Amador, Calaveras, Mariposa, Merced, Mono, San Joaquin, Santa Clara, Tuolumne) and the use of a state vehicle.

The SSA Recruiter uses the CORE (Corpsmember Recruitment Salesforce) system to track engagement with CCC Corpsmember applicants, analyze recruitment reports, and ensure timely engagement for a smooth enrollment process. Strong analytical skills, public speaking ability, and enthusiasm for working with young adults are essential.
