Your Key Responsibilities
- Program, design, and edit control logic, wiring diagrams, single lines, and P&IDs for complex industrial systems.
- Perform comprehensive process and control design for projects involving PLCs, networks, drives, instrumentation, and control panels.
- Program and configure Allen-Bradley hardware (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix) and HMI interfaces (FactoryTalk PanelView) to control fluid and industrial processes.
- Mechanically and electrically troubleshoot complex equipment problems, performing repairs and refurbishment of PLC modules, HMIs, and other electrical hardware.
- Lead on-site system commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting to ensure successful project handover.
- Develop electrical drawings and panel designs as part of full-cycle controls engineering projects.
- (For hybrid role) Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities and supporting client technical discussions.
What You Bring to the Role
2+ years of professional experience programming Allen-Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix) and HMIs (FactoryTalk PanelView).
Proven ability to program PLCs from scratch and perform full-cycle controls engineering.
Experience in site commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting of industrial control systems.
Proficiency in reading and creating electrical drawings, single lines, and P&IDs; AutoCAD experience is a plus.
Preferred: Background in process controls within industries such as chemical, water, or manufacturing.
Preferred: Experience with Siemens PLCs and network architectures.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.
