Job Responsibilities
Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services
Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, and clean and inspect equipment
Answer customer inquiries and educate them regarding products and services
Prepare rental invoices and accept returned equipment
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving equipment weighing a minimum of
diy 50 lbs.
Willingness to work in environments with Ôret moderate risks or discomforts
Commitment to ongoing education and training offered by U-Haul
Preferred Qualifications
Mechanical background or experience in a related field
Previous customer service experience, particularly in a retail or service environment
Certification in forklift operation or willingness to obtain certification through U-Haul
Experience with equipment inspection or maintenance
Familiarity with safety precautions related to working with moving parts or machines
