What You Will Do
This team works primarily with a single customer in the home-improvement segment.
Safety first—drivers transport team members to and from inventory events, adhering to traffic laws, WIS safety requirements, vehicle inspections, maintenance, and daily cleaning.
Count and record inventory with precision.
Follow a clear, consistent workflow playbook.
Move between inventory locations, often walking or standing for extended periods.
Meet daily performance goals and celebrate achievements.
Team Requirements
At least 21 years of age.
Experience in retail, stock, customer service, cashier, sales representative, driver, or warehouse work is a plus.
No inventory experience? No problem—training provided.
Ability to stand, walk, and stay active during shifts.
Comfort with handheld scanners or counting tools.
Strong focus, attention to detail, reliable attendance, positive team-oriented attitude.
Open to candidates: no degree needed; returning to workforce; military experience.
Access to reliable transportation.
Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records considered per LA County FCO and California Fair Chance Act.
Inventory Associate Driver Requirements
Valid driver's license within state of residence for at least 36 months.
Minimum of 3 years proven driving experience.
Willing to submit to pre-employment investigative consumer report, screening, and MVR check.
Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation to assigned locations.
Availability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings and late nights.
Material Job Duties
Pick up, drop off, and regularly drive rental and company-owned vehicles.
Pick up employees from designated meet sites on time, as needed.
Safely and timely transport employees to inventory events, mapping driving routes.
Fulfill miscellaneous tasks and errands (e.g., picking equipment, shipping).
Proactively adjust driving plan for efficiency and safety.
Complete required vehicle inspections and cleanings.
Work closely with District Managers, Area Managers, and Inventory Supervisors; report safety concerns, vehicle issues, employee issues, etc.
Build rapport and engage professionally with all team members.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness at all times.
Schedule required vehicle maintenance and service appointments timely.
Assist with safety checks at event startup (including ladder safety inspections).
May be asked to occasionally count at inventory events.
Working Conditions This position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods, walk, use both hands and wrists for repetitive motions, be in low positions (squatting/kneeling/crouching), use a ladder, lift and carry items up to 25 lbs., and frequently travel via car and occasionally by plane with overnight stays.
