PAYROLL PROCESSOR
Pittsburgh, PA (hybrid)
$60,000- $65,000
OVERVIEW OF THE PAYROLL PROCESSOR ROLE:
- Process bi-weekly payroll for multiple locations and entities within the hospitality group
- Collect and verify timesheets, tips, commissions, and wage adjustments
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage laws
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and timekeeping
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data in the payroll system
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits as needed
- Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to support onboarding, terminations, and benefit deductions
- Assist with year-end processes, including W-2 preparation and tax filings
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE PAYROLL PROCESSOR:
- 2+ years of payroll processing experience; hospitality or multi-location industry experience preferred
- Familiarity with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, UKG, Paycor, etc.)
- Knowledge of wage and hour laws, payroll tax rules, and compliance requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
