The role involves working across all software layers of device architecture, debugging across various environments, and collaborating with internal teams and external customers. Responsibilities: • Strong C programming skills, with an emphasis on secure programming best practices. • Strong understanding of embedded hardware & driver concepts. • Strong understanding of software and computer architecture concepts. • Strong understanding of operating system concepts such as tasks, signals, timers, priorities, deadlocks, stacks, memory management, etc. • Experience with JTAG-enabled devices and software debugger, with excellent debugging skills. Qualifications: Required: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. • Strong C programming skills, with an emphasis on secure programming best practices. • Strong understanding of embedded hardware & driver concepts. • Strong understanding of software and computer architecture concepts. • Strong understanding of operating system concepts such as tasks, signals, timers, priorities, deadlocks, stacks, memory management, etc. • Experience with JTAG-enabled devices and software debugger, with excellent debugging skills. • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Being a team player who can function well with minimum supervision • Attention to detail and follow-through Preferred: • Working knowledge of cryptography and secure protocols. • Qualcomm MSM and AMSS development experience. • ARM architecture and software development experience. • RISC-V architecture and software development experience. • Experience with on-chip simulators/emulators. • Experience with ARM Trustzone architecture.
