Job Title: Junior Developer
Position Type: Part-Time / Full-Time (Flexible Hours) Location: Remote (U.S. Applicants) or Hybrid (Local Applicants) About the Role
We're looking for a Junior Developer to support our engineering efforts across multiple projects. Youll be building, maintaining, and improving our internal dashboards, automation pipelines, eCommerce tools, and web-based applications. This is a great opportunity to grow within a fast-moving, real-world environment at the intersection of Bitcoin Mining, infrastructure, and SaaS. About Simple Mining

Based in Cedar Falls, Iowa, we operate over 20,000 machines for clients across the globe. Were a fast-growing Bitcoin company looking for an ambitious, creative, and proactive Junior Developer to join our team. Example Responsibilities
Develop and maintain web applications using our existing tech stack. Assist in writing clean, reusable, and scalable code. Collaborate with lead developers on feature planning and implementation. Build internal automation tools for business operations. Debug, test, and troubleshoot production issues. Work independently and manage tasks using GitHub, Notion/Linear. Tech Stack
Frontend: TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Next.js Backend: Node.js, Python Database: PostgreSQL, Timeseries Other Tools: Git, REST APIs, Redis, Docker, AWS Ideal Candidate
Web Development:
13 years of hands-on experience shipping production React/Next.js applications, and experience with SQL (Postgres). eCommerce Expertise:
At least 1 year building or maintaining storefronts with custom payment flows (Excluding Stripe/Shopify, etc). Git & Tooling:
Comfortable with pull-request workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines. Communication & Ownership:
Proactively asks questions, proposes solutions, and delivers tasks independently in a remote setting. Growth Mindset:
Thrives on rapid iteration, learning new technologies, and solving real-world business problems under tight deadlines. Bonus Points:
