OnRamps prepares students and teachers for success in the classroom and beyond. We build partnerships across K12 and higher education to raise the bar on dynamic experiences that advance student success while lowering barriers to access and opportunity. Megan Bullock - Supervisor Up to 10-15 hours weekly. Schedule to be determined with supervisor. Students will be allowed to work remotely from Austin, Texas. Purpose
The OnRamps Partnerships team is seeking student employees to assist with functions that include basic office/administrative work and customer service; data gathering, compilation, and formatting; assisting as needed with event planning and execution; and assisting with assigned project management and support. Service will include communicating with OnRamps partners and data will be focused on K-12 districts and schools, institutions of higher education, and organizations that serve the education sector, and will be oriented toward developing, implementing, and improving services for OnRamps partners. Events may include virtual and/or in-person modalities and will be focused on serving OnRamps partners and the educational community. Responsibilities
Completes assigned office tasks and respond in a timely manner to assigned service requests and partner inquiries. Completes data gathering, compilation, and formatting assignments. Prepares requested files and/or documents for review and inclusion in OnRamps initiatives Assists with and support assigned projects. Assists with virtual and/or in-person event planning and execution. Required Qualifications
Current undergraduate student at The University of Texas at Austin Excellent writing, communication, and critical thinking skills Ability to locate, compile, and format data from educational institution or organization websites Ability to track and update progress and/or needs for assigned projects Ability to assist with event planning, logistics/setup, and/or customer service for virtual and/or in-person events Ability to work well in a remote environment, both individually and with a team Skilled with the Microsoft Office Suite and either experience with, or ability to learn, standard office software Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with, or knowledge of, K-12 and higher education systems. Experience with data gathering, compilation, and/or formatting. Experience preparing professional documents for review and/or inclusion in various projects/initiatives. Salary
$12.00 - $14.50 hourly Working Conditions
