Boston Public Schools seeks an exceptional

Special Education [Lab Clusters] Teacher

with an SEI Endorsement who is highly qualified and knowledgeable to join our community of teachers, learners, and leaders. This is an exciting opportunity for teachers who desire to serve where their efforts matter. Reports To: Principal/Head of School Responsibilities Implement district learning goals aligned with state frameworks, including identifying access points for student portfolio development. Provide small-group instruction for students with moderate to severe cognitive delays to ensure understanding and progress. Write and implement IEP goals and objectives; provide regular progress reports. Provide accommodations for learning and testing; develop curriculum and analyze student work for assessments. Collaborate with staff to support student modifications. Assist students transitioning to adult living services when appropriate. Core Competencies:

Reflect on practice, seek feedback, and collaborate with colleagues. Qualifications - Required Bachelor's degree. Massachusetts Teaching License in Moderate Disabilities for the appropriate grade level. SEI Endorsement or ESL License at the appropriate level. Meet all licensing and qualification standards. Authorization to work in the U.S. by first day. Qualifications - Preferred Experience in urban schools. Degree in Special Education. Fluency in BPS official languages (Spanish, Creole, Chinese, Vietnamese, Portuguese, Somali) is valued. Certification in subject area and in Moderate Disabilities and/or ESL is preferred. Terms:
