Job Description Professional level sales position capable of supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. The role is responsible for profitable growth of the commercial business via customer retention and growth. It partners with the GM to manage Team Members and requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts. The role involves sourcing from various channels including special orders, FDO, second sources, etc., and directing drivers to ensure timely and accurate delivery. This is a full-time position.
Primary Responsibilities
Maintain commercial customer relationships
Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
Support Team Members daily and collaborate with GM on coaching and development
Dispatch drivers to meet delivery standards
Manage commercial stocking programs
Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers
Secondary Responsibilities
Maintain core bank and commercial returns
Manage commercial credit accounts
Partner with GM to ensure proper driver coverage

Operating POS and parts lookup systems
ASE P2 certification or equivalent
Advanced solution and project recommendation skills

Essential Job Skills
Knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics
Effective communication in English (Spanish a plus)
Ability to interpret safety rules, manuals, and catalogs
Complete Parts Knowledge Assessment successfully
Basic math and Microsoft Office skills
Strong organizational skills
Understanding of commercial profitability and market dynamics
Flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends
Prior Experience Minimum of 3 years automotive parts experience preferred, with proven sales ability and team leadership experience.
Education High school diploma or GED required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations ASE Certification preferred but not required.
Physical Demands Must be able to walk, stand, lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Must have good vision and physical ability to perform job duties.
Work Environment Primarily indoor work with occasional outdoor tasks in various weather conditions. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and noise may occur.
Position is eligible for sales commission based on performance.
Compensation Range $19.95 - $21.95 per hour
