Order Picker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Order Picker to join our growing logistics team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. You will be responsible for selecting items from warehouse shelves, verifying quantities, and preparing them for shipment. This fast-paced position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order specifications.
• Utilize RF scanning devices or pick lists to identify and select products.
• Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
• Stage picked orders in the designated area for packing and shipping.
• Operate pallet jacks and other hand-held equipment safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the picking area and warehouse aisles.
• Adhere to all company safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
• Follow proper lifting techniques to prevent injuries.
• Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
• Contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse logistics operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse or order picking experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
• Basic math skills for quantity verification.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and move around the warehouse for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Understanding of basic logistics principles is a plus.
