Job Overview Alpha School transforms education by combining AI‑driven core academics with real‑world competency learning. As Director of Parent Engagement & Advocacy, you will serve as the campus’s public face, driving enrollment growth, building trust, and converting families into vocal advocates.
Key Responsibilities
Own the parent journey at a single campus – from inquiry to sustained engagement.
Conduct persuasive information sessions and individualized dialogues that transform interested parents into dedicated advocates.
Serve as the principal contact for parents—addressing concerns, enhancing satisfaction, and ensuring families feel supported throughout the Alpha experience.
Establish visibility and credibility through on‑site engagement, local collaborations, and community outreach initiatives.
Mobilize parent champions to expand referrals and strengthen community influence.
What You Won’t Be Doing
Rely on scripted sales approaches or transactional communication methods.
Transfer relationship responsibilities to campus personnel or take a passive role.
Operate remotely from a desk—this position requires full campus integration.
Qualifications
Live within commuting range of one of our campuses in CA, GA, MD, NC, NY, TX, or WA, or be willing to relocate.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
5+ years of experience with families in educational outreach or enrollment.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to earn trust and guide sophisticated decision‑making.
Deep belief in Alpha’s accelerated, high‑expectation learning model.
Location On‑site – select campus:
CA: San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Palo Alto, Piedmont (East Bay)
GA: Roswell (Atlanta)
MD: Bethesda
NC: Charlotte
NY: New York City
TX: Austin, Brownsville, Houston
WA: Kirkland (Seattle)
Compensation $100 USD/hour, equating to $200,000/year for a 40‑hour week (50 weeks per year). Weekly payment.
Benefits Relocation support; campus integration; immediate start; independent contractor agreement with Crossover.
