$5,365.00 - $7,295.00 per annum (Administrative) $6,455.00 - $8,571.00 per annum (Triage) New employees will be hired at the minimum salary of the classification. Responsibilities and Duties

The Department of Developmental Services' Stabilization Training Assessment Re-Integration (STAR) Acute Crisis Homes seeks compassionate and dedicated individuals to assist people with developmental disabilities during acute crisis. Responsibilities include: Assist individuals with activities of daily living Provide emotional support and promote independence Maintain a safe and supportive environment for adolescents (11‑17) and adults (18 and older) Work in four to five bed community home settings in Vacaville, Springville, and Costa Mesa Travel up to 300 miles per day to serve facilities across Northern and Southern California, including overnight stays when required Support individuals with developmental disabilities such as autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, and severe behavioral or psychiatric conditions, including aggression, self‑injurious behavior, and suicidal ideation Working Conditions

Must possess sufficient strength, agility, endurance, and sensory ability to perform duties Must be able to drive and operate a vehicle for up to 300 miles per day Extended hours or varying shifts may be required Travel may involve overnight stays Special Requirements

Valid California Driver’s License (CDL) – must provide number, class, expiration date, and endorsements Must pass drug screening, background investigation, and medical clearance prior to hire Registered Dietitian certification required by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics; applicants may be admitted pending attainment of registration Application Instructions
